Synopsis
Paloma is a dialogue between two souls. It is an emotional encounter between the charm of a puppet, which delicately reproduces the gestures of an elderly woman, and the music that inspires, accompanies and supports those gestures.
On stage, Paloma is a singing soul with deep eyes, carrying suitcases filled with memories of time that will never return. Time devours the simple things: childhood, youth, love and life.
Alongside her is another silent figure who waits, observes and marks the passing of time through music and a metronome. Whether it is Time itself or another mysterious presence, Paloma tries to escape it with her precious memories. One suitcase after another reveals small theatrical worlds created through different puppetry techniques. Voice and song draw on the South American musical tradition, where death is embraced as a natural part of life.
On stage, Michela Marrazzi performs with a hybrid foam puppet she created and brought to life, accompanied by accordionist Rocco Nigro, who guides the emotional journey through music.

PRESS REVIEWS
"We do not know how certain masterpieces can emerge in times of pain and hardship like those we have all experienced together. Yet sometimes they do, reminding us that theatre is not only a place of resistance, but also a place where emotions endure. Watching Paloma felt like witnessing one of those rare and perfect moments of revelation."
— Anna Maria Monteverdi, inthenet.eu
"Paloma is profoundly moving and poetic. As her breathing gradually becomes heavier, the audience's heartbeat begins to follow her own until she finally disappears into the darkness, leaving behind an unforgettable presence. It is as if she reminds us that stories never truly die, as long as someone continues to tell them."
— Simone Nebbia, Teatro e Critica
"This remarkable performance is imbued with a touching melancholy, balanced by a gentle irony that, as always, makes every emotion both deeper and more bearable. The South American melodies infuse the entire piece with an authentic, almost ancestral sense of magic. Every movement of the puppet is crafted with extraordinary precision in its delicate relationship with the performer and the accordionist, who guides her not only through music but also through gestures and facial expressions, gently reminding her of both her duties and her deepest joys."
